Lighting can transform any room and make such a difference. It can make a dull cold room come to life and totally change the feeling of the space. It is very important when choosing your lighting as getting the balance of light in the room is so important and most of all it's about making a space feel warm and welcome. However, when it's time to party, this is when the mood has to change and it is essential to get that sense of movement in the space in order to make the space inviting for our guests to party.
So if you are simply looking for basic up-lighters, wish to create a winter wonderland or create spectacular lighting we have a whole range of lighting to cater for all requirements.
Our lighting is all high end and regularly serviced to ensure it’s reliable and working at its best. Our lighting stock is mainly ‘Martin Pro’, ‘Robe UK’, Pulsar & LED products.
wedding entertainment
The entertainment is one of the most important aspects of an event as it leaves your guests with something to remember. If you require a DJ for your wedding, a 5 piece band or an orchestra we have professional musicians who work with us and have all had extensive experience in the industry. So if you want a 'Crooner' or a 70s 80s DJ, we have a fantastic selection of artists to suit your taste and budget.
Why not make your daytime reception that extra special by having a singer or simply have background music coming through a stylish music system spaced around the room (music of your choice) and a radio mic for the top table, ensuring all your guests get to hear the best man's speech!
Corporate
Whether having a corporate event or an AGM, we can provide you with all your requirements from Plasma TVs to outdoor custom logo projections. Our clients vary from construction to the NHS we have provided a complete transformation package and have worked alongside celebrities & VIPs. It means a lot to us that our clients feel comfortable and confident with our professional touch.

Absolute Lighting & Events have designed and installed some of the country's biggest late night venues. Our services include on-site consultations followed by a design to suit your venue & budget.
Having gained dealership for some of the leading lighting & sound companies allows us to be competitive and use the best products.
So if it’s a new build bar, restaurant or a marquee dance event we can provide you with all your requirements to deliver a magic show.
Our latest project was Cube Club Liverpool where the owners were impressed by a demo at Martin Professional UK. This led to an installation that has stood out in the industry, using many Martin Mac 250 Krypton’s/ Washes, Atomics, mx10s Wizard Extremes operated by Martin Light Jockey. This project has recently had a visit from Martin Professional’s business area manager from Denmark who found the whole project very impressive.
Consultations
If you are planning your wedding/ event and feel you would like some input why not take advantage of a free consultation at the venue to discuss any ideas you may have. In the past our previous clients have found this very useful, offering those exciting ideas and how to gain that special touch for their event. This is also a good time to meet clients, find out a little about what they would like to happen at their event, music taste and get the ball rolling. Our clients are able to email us as often as they want with any specific music they want our DJ to play and we simply make a note in your personal file which we keep for your event, supporting you every step of the way! Prior to the event, we will liaise with the venue event team to plan our set-up and running orders.

Director Neil Riley comes from a theatrical background...

...and has a passion for sight specific projects, hence why he takes his events so seriously. He knows that every event and venue is different, and his background training provided the bedrock for the exceptionally high standard of work he now produces. Neil guarantees the wow factor whatever the event! After studying Technical Theatre at Liverpool Hope University, Neil took a prestigious post-graduate course at The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama where he excelled in lighting studies and event management. Neil’s extensive travelling in the subcontinent has had a clear impact on his work, giving him an eclectic cultural mix to draw on.
He has worked on many high profile and VIP events, international projects and challenging ideas. He has extensive experience working with celebrites on events.
